The Foundation aims to contribute to human and civic growth through the dissemination of knowledge, the promotion of sustainability, and the support of ethical, inclusive, and innovative development models. We operate with responsibility, transparency, and collaboration, fostering dialogue among individuals, institutions, and organizations committed to the protection of life, culture, and nature.

Areas of Intervention

The Foundation’s primary activities focus in particular on the following areas:

1. Human Well-being and Health
   The Foundation contributes to improving the health and well-being of communities, also through the generation of new knowledge.
   It supports the development of innovative solutions and research projects aimed at the prevention and treatment of disorders and diseases, while promoting a culture of health that is informed, inclusive, and accessible.
2. Protection of the Planet and Safeguarding of Natural Biodiversity
   The Foundation promotes environmental protection and the conservation of natural resources.
   It supports initiatives aimed at reducing human impact, encouraging the sustainable use of resources, and protecting the genetic diversity of species and ecosystems, in the interest of present and future generations.

    

For both areas, the Foundation operates through interventions of different kinds:

• Organizational, such as feasibility studies and the design of initiatives managed directly or in partnership with other entities;
• Cultural and educational, through training, information, communication, and awareness-raising activities;
• Economic, by supporting third-party projects and providing grants to entities and organizations with social, cultural, or scientific purposes.

The Foundation’s Objectives

The objectives of Fondazione LAC ETS are to:

• promote and enhance the well-being of human beings, the planet, and all living beings that inhabit it;
• foster knowledge and awareness of environmental sustainability and natural, cultural, and social diversity;
• create spaces for dialogue and exchange to support human and civic growth, including through digital tools and innovative models of participation;
• organize and manage cultural, artistic, and scientific research activities of social interest, promoting a culture of legality, coexistence, and peace;
• finance and support entities, institutions, and projects consistent with its mission, including through financial participation in companies or organizations that contribute to the achievement of shared objectives.
