The Foundation supports Trees for People, an initiative promoted by NZATU in the Namwala District of Zambia. The project aims to establish a “model farm” that serves as a concrete example of regenerative agriculture, sustainable beekeeping, and training for younger generations, with a particular focus on women. Its goal is to foster a local economy rooted in respect for the ecosystem, while strengthening food security and the economic independence of the community.
The Foundation supports the conservation and anti-poaching activities promoted by Mdluli Safari Lodge, located within Kruger National Park in South Africa. The lodge is a 50% partnership with the local Mdluli community, comprising approximately 45,000 people, and aims to sustainably improve the quality of life of the population through infrastructure development, training, and wildlife conservation. The Mdluli Conservation and Anti-Poaching Unit (MC&AP) operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, in collaboration with SANParks Honorary Rangers and Noctuam, to protect endangered species and preserve the balance of the ecosystem.
In the field of human health and well-being, Fondazione LAC provided its sponsorship to the conference “The Dimensions of Hate”, dedicated to the topic of Eating Disorders (EDs). Held in Parma on 25 October 2025, the event represented an important opportunity for reflection and dialogue among professionals, institutions, and associations, with the aim of promoting awareness, prevention, and social inclusion.
Through these and future projects, Fondazione LAC reaffirms its commitment to promoting initiatives that combine solidarity, knowledge, and environmental responsibility, building bridges between communities and generations to help shape a more equitable and sustainable future.
